Maria del Carmen Arroyo front candidate for the City Council in the 8th District Ralina Cardona registered her campaign committee on January 11, 2013.
She signed a lease for a campaign office, which does not seem to exist except in her own Alexander Avenue home, on February 1, 2013 she registered a Rent Lease payment with the New York City Campaign Finance Board.
The lease is with a shady entity listed only as “HIC”, in Brooklyn no less. For a City Council seat in Manhattan and The Bronx
For $13,500. At once.
But with less than a month since the start of her official campaign she did not raise $13,5000 by then. There were no transfers in of money from a previous campaign account, as often happens. The lease was not listed as an “Advance” or an “Outstanding Liability”, categories of the NYCCFB.
It was listed as a Payment, how?
This is her reported contributions by that time. Not nearly enough to cover that outlay of money.
She had raised only $5500 by that time, an $8,000 difference. The Arroyo’s and their allies are used to moving and switching money around, but this was too fast and furious.
New York Campaign Finance Board, what do you think of this? And will she release the lease to the public in the interest of transparency?
Ralina is one the gang who got Arroyo Nephew Richard Izquierdo a job after his embezzlement conviction that he has yet to make Court mandated restitution for.
